Steve Wyche of NFL.com is reporting that the Miami Dolphins and veteran defensive end Charles Grant, formerly of the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a two year, $4.5 million contract.

Grant will add another body to compete with fellow vet Marques Douglas and rookie Jared Odrick for the starting right defensive end spot.

Grant is no guarantee to make the roster at all, and has a potential four game suspension hanging over his head because of the Starcaps court case.

The suspension has been post-poned though because of the court preceedings.

Grant has been a 4-3 defensive end his whole career, but will be making the switch to a 3-4 end now that he is on the Fins roster.
